We had this brush for almost 15 months now, it still in good shape. Don’t waste your money on those 99 cents or $1.99 bottle brushes, they just not going to last more than 30 days. Plus the cheap brushes don’t have enough bristle density to clean bottles well. Got the Avent brush at a local store, paid more than $4, if I remember correctly. Definitely the best $4 or $5 we ever spent on a baby item. We will continue to use this item beyond bottle washing, it would be good for washing mugs, wine glasses…. Very well built brush.

2 babies, 18m and 4m. Used lots of brushes already. Bought this one because of the reviews, and I’m glad I did. Wife loves it. I love it. Much easier to use than older brushes… Bristle actually reach into nooks and crannies, don’t break off, and don’t stain.
Also works well on the nooks and crannies of my traveling coffee cup. Don’t tell the wife. *smirk*
She likes this brush so much, when she went on Vacation to her cousins back in the states, she made me order one so that it would be there waiting. I asked why she just didn’t take ours and she said she didn’t want to risk something happening to it… ??? Women.

I love this bottle brush and use it to clean Dr. Brown bottles, the narrow kind. It fits the bottle neck better and when you pull it out, water doesn’t splash everywhere like with the thicker Munchkin brush. Would highly recommend it. Just wish there was a way to to stick it to the countertop with a suction cup like the Munchkin brush, but therefore it has the hard plastic cleaner at the end for nipples which I like too.

This brush works very well with Avent (or any other brand) baby bottles. The bristle end is sized well for both the 4- and 9-oz. sizes, but the real plus is the handle end. It has hard ribbed plastic that will clear out the interior of the nipples themselves without damaging them. So, the next time you find a hard clump of formula powder clogging a nipple, this brush will save you from having to simply throw it away.
Much better suited to this daily task than any general purpose dish or bottle brush, the Avent is definitely worth the money.

I bought this for me and the wife to use washing our baby’s bottles and my wife’s breast pump and supplies. It’s built well – very sturdy – and has held up really well. The bristles are very soft and mold to reach all the nooks and crannies of the bottles. The tip of the other end can get up into the ends of the nipples to clean them out as well. Is it wrong that I feel funny using the word nipple in a review? 🙂
Anyway, the brush works so well my wife asked me to buy another one for her to take to work. She uses it there to clean the breast pump machine and supplies when she pumps at the office.
We’re happy with the performance so far – if anything changes I will make an update…
