I have this in black.
Really nice leather. Looks stylish and feminine, and also boardroom-ready. My 17″ laptops fit inside fine. Laptop protection is fine. Telescoping handle/wheels work well. A great change from lugging shoulder bags. I love it!
I haven’t detached it more than a couple of times. Nice to have that option, especially in stormy weather.
The wheel assembly doesn’t add a particularly insane amount of weight. It goes up/down stairs fine in a pinch.
I do not plan take this through airports on a regular basis. The stiff leather seems pretty durable, but more pretty than bulletproof.
Be aware:
– The black one comes w/VERY red piping. The black leather has a matte finish.
– The orange one is CONSTRUCTION ORANGE. This color comes with a lovely pearlescent finish, but it does glow in the dark like a traffic cone. I wish they had gone with more of a blonde/natural leather color.
– I need more expansion space for papers + folders + adapter/cable.
Where to stash cables (if you carry lots of things with cables and chargers) is a challenge.
– After several months, the interior cloth dividing the laptop from the “everything else” side is getting a bit frayed on the sides where laptops have been pulled in/out daily. The lining is pretty but not durable.
– The rain-resistant cover (not shown in the photo but comes with it) has come in handy a few times but is inefficient/flimsy protection from a real downpour.
– Cel phone pocket won’t nearly hold a Blackberry & is useless for nearly all other functions (minor annoyance); other pockets for stashing other small objects seem OK.

I absolutely LOVE this BAG but I agree with C Turner, if you have a lot to carry it won’t hold it.
I’m using it for very infrequent trips so it suits a DVD player and movies more than a laptop and all the accoutrement required if you are a heavy duty computer user. IT needs to be wider FRONT to BACK for that. Too much space is wasted at the back where the handle and cute rain cover are.
For plain old travel it is perfect for medicines, slippers, pens, pad of paper and a sandwich.
More so with its STUNNING COLORS, it is just plain pretty! I’m sick to no end of black and browns so this line suits me to a Tee. I like my luggage VISIBLE. That way if someone is running away with it, you can holler, “FOLLOW THE PERSON WITH THE KELLEY GREEN AND ORANGE LUGGAGE!” Orange referring to Titan’s x2 suitcase line (sorry bright colors and great interior but not the least bit durable, broke in under one hour! during packing no less).
Indeed the RAIN COVER is a great dust cover only. Leather is silky/lovely and suits the price tag. Amazon’s price is better than any on this item.
Now McKlein! “MAKE IT BIGGER”, in those bright colors. ADD A LOCKING MECHANISM [why doesn’t this thing lock at least like a brief case?] while you are at it and we can buy another one to hold a thermos AND a sandwich.

This is a beautiful laptop bag! The first time I used it I felt self-conscious wheeling it along behind me, it’s so gorgeous.
The red is a deep, rich color, and the leather is high quality. The bag is very well made. My 16″ Toshiba Satellite fits perfectly. There’s room for a few miscellaneous items, as well as a couple of files and a notepad, so I was able to stash things in it and not have to bring my purse along too, although it was a snug fit.
It took me a few minutes to figure out how to unzip it from the wheeled platform, but it’s actually easy to do. The wheels are smooth and it’s easy to maneuver.
I can’t think of anything not to like about this bag. I read a lot of reviews before I bought it, and I’m very happy with my purchase.

My staff bought this item for what they thought would be a very nice gift. It was bulky, stiff, small on the inside, did I mention stiff, the zippers are uncooperative and stiff. The mismatched seams and thread make it look cheap – which it isn’t.
and if you try to return it, you are slapped with a $29.41 restocking fee (not mentioned in the advertisement) plus shipping.
If there was a rating below 1 star, I would use it. I would give this thing a -7

I received compliment after compliment on this briefcase at a recent workshop I attended; it truly does stand out to be noticed. And you certainly don’t mistake your colorful, beautiful briefcase for any other run of the mill briefcase either.
This bag is feminine and attractive, yet just as functional as any other comparable bag.
*A note about airlines – I deliberately left the wheels off when flying on a commuter jet knowing I would be hard pressed to fit the bag and wheel assembly under the seat. And I’m glad I did! The bag just fit without snagging or rubbing, but I know that with the wheels on, it would have been too tight of a fit.
The only drawback I have experienced is that the laptop protection area is too large for many newer laptops out there which meant that there also was not a lot of room for files or books on the other side. Most laptops are slimming down and are no longer 2.5 and 3 inches thick! Mine is less than an inch thick which meant that I lost quite a bit of protection.
The bottom line – I highly recommend this product, but if you’ve got a slim notebook computer, you might want to get additional protection to go with it.
A suggestion to McKlein – I think it would be great if the inside compartments were moveable and adjustable so everyone gets what they need with space! (more file room, less computer room or more computer room and less file room, etc.)

I was looking for a rolling laptop bag that looks like a women’s tote when carried and was so thrilled to find this one. It looks great and and hold much more than it looks like it would. I love the water bottle holder. There is room for files and notebooks, a small make up bag and purse. Seems very durable too. Please note: there is no shoulder strap as the described.

I finally found a stylish and functional solution! Everyone who sees this wants one. It is small enough to easily manuever but at the same time has plenty of room for all of my stuff. It carries a ton of weight easily and the wheels are large and roll well even over uneven surfaces and curbs. The handle is study and doesn’t twist or flex. The side cup holder folds shut and secures with a magnet when not in use. I have never had this bag perform the dreaded side roll or tip while I am walking along. It moves very smoothly and, a huge plus, is super quite even on tiled surfaces. The way it is made it doesn’t bump into your legs while you carry it by the double strap handle. I can’t think of anything that could be added to this bag to make it any more functional or attractive. I am in love! I am planning to order another one of these just in case they ever stop making them. The price is more than a steal when compared to other bags of MUCH less quality! If you need a rolling bag, buy this one!

I have used a number of computer bags over the years and needed to convert to a wheeled version for ergonomic reasons. I disliked many of the options because they not only looked heavy and industrial but were just stiff and klunky to use. This one is nice looking, light and practical. The pockets are a nice combination for papers and notebooks as well as cords, thicker items that need a bit more space and protection. It’s easy to access all of the pockets. I showed up at my office with it(healthcare field) and 3 of my coworkers immediately went and purchased it as well. We could use some other colors so they don’t get mixed up. By the way, I took it on vacation recently and it also fits nicely under the seat on planes. I haven’t found anything I dislike about it yet.

I had been using an over-the-shoulder bag for years, but my neck and shoulders were really starting to suffer. I didn’t want your typical boxy rolling computer bag. I wanted something with a little style. This bag is very sleek looking, and I’ve already gotten several compliments on it. The design on it is probably a bit too feminine for most men. Aside from style, I wanted a bag that was lightweight. Some of these bags are 10-12 lbs empty, and I just didn’t want something like that. This bag is light to begin with, so it’s still easy to manage when stuffed with my computer, accessories, files, etc. I also live in NYC and am rolling it over bumpy sidewalks. So far, so good. It seems to be holding up pretty well and rolls easily. The bag has several compartments for all of your items. Several people mention the lack of a shoulder strap. It might be nice to have, but I find that those usually get in the way. The handles make it very easy to pick up if you need to carry it up and down stairs or just carry it for a little while.

After 10 years of work travel, I finally found the right laptop bag. It’s very, very light and fits easily into the overhead – even on regional jets. It has a convenient padded area for the laptop that’s easy to access when going through security. There are plenty of pockets inside for cords, mouse, etc. There’s also plenty of room for files, notepads, etc. The outside cover is durable and the shape and accent print are designed to appeal to the female traveler. The telescoping handle seems sturdy and makes the bag easy to maneuver. The outside pocket for a water bottle is really handy. Simply a great laptop bag!
