Works great with the Nikon D300s but you must set the microphone volume to its lowest setting. Also if you clip it on your collar it tends to overload the camera input; just clip it around your shirt pocket and everthing is really good.

sound quality isn’t great, but you can’t expect that at this price.

    i like the long cable.

THis microphone works great! It records great audio, it shipped on time, and worked with all my software and my web-camera. A great buy for aspiring movie makers. THe microphone can be hidden under a shirt which helps when recording video.

I thought I could use this with my Canon ZR900 Camcorder because it has an audio jack. Well, I can plug it up, but I can’t get any sound to come through, only buzz. Then I thought I should test it in my computer. It doesn’t work as a clip on at all. You can get sound if you hold it against your lips, which obviously means it is not “hands free.” You might be able to clip it on your lips. Clipping it on your nose would not be close enough. Seriously, don’t waste your time with this microphone. Listen to the other bad reviews, I don’t know how anyone could give this product more than 1 star. It doesn’t deserve 1.

This microphone is nice for the price. I purchased it to increase the volume of my voice in video webcasts. So far I find this microphone satisfies my needs as a beginner. There are probably much better quality out there if your willing to pay for it; however, if your just wanting a simple microphone this one works fine for me. Easy hookup and no expensive batteries. Will update the review if it turns out not so good.
