MILFORD Books N Stuff 2a new venture in Milford’s Old Lumberyard Shops, is a used book store offering Wi-Fi and internet services, including computer training. But there’s more to it than that: in a win-win scenario the shop owner – Laura-the-Media Lady – has partnered with the Pike County Humane Society to raise up to ,000 for the shelter.

Computers stolen
A break-in at the office of Pronghorn Controls has left staff minus two computers. According to Hanna RCMP Const. Jennifer Brewer, sometime between Aug. 13 and 16, someone broke into the facility, accessing the office through a window which had its screen pulled off.
